At J.V. Precision Machine Co., we’re committed to expanding our capabilities to meet the increasingly complex needs of the defense, aerospace, and precision manufacturing industries. Our newest investment—the HAAS HDC-3-5AX—marks a major step forward in both size capacity and 5-axis machining power.
Big Machine. Bigger Possibilities.
The HAAS HDC-3-5AX is built for large-part, high-precision machining. With a massive work envelope and full 5-axis motion, this machine allows us to handle complex geometries and tight tolerances on parts we previously couldn’t accommodate in-house.
We can now machine:
Large billet aluminum, steel, and titanium parts
Oversized aerospace and defense castings
Structures, housings, and components on a 153" x 49" (3886 x 1245 mm) table
Single-setup multi-face operations on bulky parts with complex features
Whether it’s a precision-machined aerospace bracket or a mission-critical defense housing, we can handle it—start to finish—with better accuracy and fewer setups.
Ideal for Critical Industries:
Aerospace & Defense: Full compliance with AS9100 and ITAR ensures traceability, accountability, and quality.
High-Precision Applications: Tight tolerance, high-complexity parts produced with confidence.
Prototype to Production: Flexible enough for low-volume runs, powerful enough for production scale.
Seamless Integration with Existing Capabilities
This new addition complements our full-service machining department, including:
Wire EDM for tight-tolerance and complex internal geometries
Waterjet cutting for thick and exotic materials
Manual grinding, assembly, and inspection
CNC milling from small components to parts over 150" in length
Let’s Build Something Big Together
We’re ready to help you bring your next large, complex part to life—whether it’s billet, casting, or a fully machined assembly. Reach out to our team to learn more about how the HAAS HDC-3-5AX can support your program requirements.
